God wouldn’t make a heart as soft as mine, or build it like this, without making someone else who can hold it gently and courageously… right?

Not a loose collection of ideas. Not a rotating set of leaders. Not a handful of loosely affiliated Bible studies. Not thousands of denominations. His Church.

Jesus wasn’t nice. He is love. And not just love in a vague, poetic sense, but a radical, embodied, inconvenient, sacrificial love.

But here’s a truth I want you to hold close: in God’s eyes you were made to be here. Not by mistake, not because others need you, but because you matter intrinsically.

And here’s the hard truth: fire makes people uncomfortable. Always has. Always will. When we let Christ’s fire take root in us, it will not always be received kindly. Sometimes, living with conviction unsettles others. Jesus even warned us that His fire would cause division.

I catch myself doing it all the time — holding a microscope to my flaws, my failures, my “not enoughs.”
