Things My Friends Are Tired Of Hearing About

Summer is the best time of year. I love how it brings new energy, new activities, and even new people into our lives. I even love 95 degree weather (I might be a freak for that). New things have come into my life and old familiar ones have popped back up. Here is a list of some of the things I am all about and completely into right now!

Tanning
I am solar powered. The sun and I are besties. Catch me outside any sunny day in my bikini soaking up the rays.

Summer Concerts
It began with Jake Owen playing Riverfest in Wichita! I am a sucker for live music. Add a cold beer and some good friends, you've got my full attention and all my money needed for a pit ticket. Next up is Luke Bryan, Wyatt Flores, Flatland Calvary, and Noah Kahan!

Mega-Bed
Well actually, my sister living with me in my one-bedroom apartment this summer. We didn't have time to find bunk beds, so we put our two queen beds together and made mega-bed. More than our silly sleeping arrangements, we get to spend more time together, do fun activities together, and spend a few precious months together before she moves down to West Texas for her Master's program come August.
The NBA Finals
Guys. I am a big Thunder fan these days. I have been since probably 8th grade, but moving down to Wichita where the team is only 2-hours away and almost everyone here is a fan, has amplified it. I also think SGA is the coldest player in the game and J-Will and Jared McCain are so fun and electric! So obviously when they lost game-7, I was super sad. They got me out here being a Knicks fan for a bit (that sounds insane). But here I am.
Miss Jo
My niece, Josephine, is actually the coolest baby ever. I just love her so much.

These Text Messages I've Received Recently
I'll probably be framing these... for different reasons.

Kacey Musgrave's New Album
Middle of Nowhere is one of those albums that make me laugh, cry, think, and just scream music really loud in my car driving home from work at 11:00pm. It is too relatable and I have been a Kacey girl since she released her first album back in 2013. I can't wait to see her play a show in Kansas City this Fall.

Reminding Myself of This On A Daily Basis
No one ever loses from loving too much. Go love and dive into the people and things you love. It is never wasted.
"How To Not Drown On Dry Land"
I encourage you to give this short essay a read. I don't think it will teach you anything you don't already know; but I do think it will make you realize how important some of the points it makes is. I know it did for me.
Okay, thanks for letting me yap!
All my love,
Neva
