I just turned 24 years old. It was truly one of the very best birthdays I have had in a long time! This year was filled with so much- from trips across the country, to graduating college, to moving to a new city, to new friends, to heartbreak, to unprecedented amounts of laughter, to new people in the family, to learning self-love and discipline, to new hobbies, to so much more. I am so blessed.

These are the truths I know and have learned in my 24 years of living and loving:
Love is actually all around.
What you’re not changing, you’re choosing.
Give and give and give. We were made to serve.
Kindness is never wasted.
Your integrity is your most valuable asset.
You were made for a time such as this. Come as you are (but don't expect to leave the same).
Life is short. Spend it loving and laughing with the people who make you feel alive.
If we don’t tell people how we feel, they won’t know.
You can’t love someone into loving you.
You’re allowed to outgrow versions of yourself. Keep becoming.
You’re already living the days you once prayed for.
Being humble goes a lot further than needing to be right.
You’re remembered by how you make others feel.
The right doors will open when you’re the version of yourself that is meant to go through them.
You can’t live a positive life without having a positive outlook on it
The world is a mirror. How you see yourself is how the world will see you.
Forgiveness is essential.
You don’t need a stage to know who you are.
You were never meant to prove your worth. His blood already defines your value.
It’s okay to be sad after making the right decision.
If being hard on yourself worked, it would have by now.
Consistency beats intensity.
Your respect for yourself must be stronger than your desire to feel wanted.
Life is messy, and that’s the point.
I am so excited to see what this next year has in store for me. Here's to the best year ever... until the next!
All my love,
Neva
